The builders came in February to repair the end beam on the Transept and one of the beams in the Lychgate. The repairs are all finished but we need to paint them, when the weather improves.

We were also blessed with receiving a grant towards the purchase of ten heated pew cushions. These have been ordered and it is hoped they should arrive in April.

March 2026

The Lent Nature Quiz with mini buffet was a great success. We only had fifteen people but with a quick change of numbers in teams from four to two, it was able to continue. There was a lot of chatter and concentration, while people filled in the question sheet. The buffet was enjoyed by all. The three highest scoring teams received an Easter egg each. All the questions or answers were connected to Nature and it was interesting to find that the hardest category was sport. Thank you to everyone who came.
