Baptism (Christening)
Baptism into the church is the foundation of Christian life and is offered to everyone living in the parish who wants their child to be part of the church family. Baptism can also be offered to people of any age; usually adult baptism is followed by confirmation.
The ceremony can take place as part of a regular church service or as a separate event.
Marriage
You may be married in your local parish church or in any church where you have a close family connection or you regularly worship at that church.
If you have had a civil wedding you may wish to have a blessing in church.
Burial and Funeral Service
Burial in the parish churchyard is available (limited space) for anyone who has lived in, or who has close family connections with, the parish, and is usually preceded by a funeral service in the church.
You may also have a funeral or memorial service in the church if your loved one is to be, or has been, cremated, and the ashes may be buried in the churchyard.
Your chosen undertaker will contact the parish and make the necessary arrangements for you.

Charges for these services vary from year to year. Please contact the churchwardens if you would like any of the above services.
